it is listed on ebay at the moment so.. I AM willing to end auction early if something that sparks my interest comes along.. (eg. money ) There starting to get more scarce and seems to be going up in value so if you want one you should get it now before they become even more rare.

So say I had 2 batteries in the trunk, I'm leaning towards DEKA 9A31 since it seems like a very reasonable battery for the price. Would that mean that it would draw from the batteries in my trunk before drawing from the battery that powers the rest of my car (basically putting more stress on it?)

Allright, but what would I have to do to avoid giving it gas to play? TDI's rpms are alot less than that of a gas engine. Redline is 4800 and I usually shift at 1800-2200 rpms lol. HO alt? I'm kinda strapped for cash at the moment, maybe I can do that next year, I just don't want to put my car...
