You had to install that... no other way to get infected. Its a stupid antispyware active-x that downloads and installs fake spyware. You can try removing it manually but it is a major pain in the butt and doesnt always work right either... freaking thing comes back. Download Malwarebytes or grab...

    Single ten port

Not enough port. At 1000 watts of power using a single 3 inch port, you will have a vent velocity of roughly 50 m/s or 17% mach plus. Clearly over 35 m/s or 10% mach, where port noise is noticeable. In some cases you may be able to get away with using a single 3 inch port with a ten, but that...

    screws coming out of box

He obviously stripped them out… now they got no bite left to them. Wood screws arent the best for mdf, coarse straight shanked or even coarse drywall screws are better IMHO. Also, predrilling some pilot holes helps. And as previously mentioned for the driver mounting try some t-nuts or threaded...

I made a post regarding this a few days ago, sigh. WinISD Pro is very capable of slot port calculations too!

Tuning 120^2 of port to 38 hz?

Just use WinISD Pro for ease of port calculation. In your situation, say its a true 9.5 cubic foot of net airspace, your port would need to be 14.375 inches long to achieve 38 hertz tuning. To cut out the circles use the push/pull.

    Your "loud" volume?

Loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes. Loud, I wanna hear it loud, dont want no compromise! In all seriousness though, loud is beautiful if its clean... then again I like to hear my music. In the past I just set em via an oscilloscope to see where the head unit clipped, have even...

    This box design look good?

I get you at 2.1 cuft tuned to 34.6 hertz after all displacements. Your port area will be fine, as it is basically 16 square inches per cubic foot. More importantly at 600 watts the most your vent velocity reaches is 13.5 m/s and is clearly under 5% mach. On a side note I know of people having...

    How Off Is RE Calculator??

Wow yet another thread on yet another board discussing the accuracy of the RE Calculator. First and foremost its off, but not so drastically that will render it useless! For example, say you wanted to build slot port enclosure for an FI Q12 subwoofer. After some thought your initial plan is for...
