Well I just measured my battery tray area and the site says hc1800s are 6.5, looks like it should fit... has anyone ran a hc1800 under the hood of a 6th gen civic?

Ok thanks I will read on up on the ELD. What I noticed was when driving at full tilt with my 2 15s and 2200 I could feel the car like lose power, whats the cause of that? alt was a load boss 170 amp, not a real reliable brand but was cheap.

Not sure what that has to do with my question... but I guess i'll just get this 1400 local for a hundred bucks, sits at low 13s.

Hmm think I had very very minimal light dimming issues with a HC 1400 and H/O alt using a AQ2200D You guys think I will be ok with another 1400 and just a Hifonics BXI 2010

Ok, I use to have a Kinetik hc 1400, had AQ2200 amp too, sold them both. Now looking to get a battery, when I first bought the 1400 iirc that was the biggest battery by kinetik that fit. Is there any others that might be a better battery that will still fit in a engine bay of a honda civic...

Ok here is my question, going to buy a Hifonics 2610 in a hour or two, and wanna know if I can run this with a Kinetik 1400 on my stock civic alt of 70 amp I had a Load boss alt of 170 amp when I had my 2 15's and Aq2200d, it didn't last but 8 months. So do you think I will be fine with a 70...

Oh man I forgot to add that this box was 9.5 cu ft, what is visible in the pics is only 6 cu ft but it extended back into the trunk, we had to build two seperate boxes to make this work and bolt them together while in the car.
