    What went wrong?

On yours, so as sonn as you turned the switch on the car, it was an extremely loud hummm? and to ground the RCA's I take it I wrap wire around the input jacks on the amp and then ground it?

    What went wrong?

I hooked up my sons ipod directly to amp. Turned the gains up on the amp since I had them down to avoid the loud hummm, and when the ipod was hooked up, I didn't get any humm. Does this mean its for sure my HU? I'm only guessing this since everything worked as wired before I rehooked up the RF...

I "think" those were all OK. Everything worked great. All I did I thought was reconnect the RF speaker that had come undone (black/grey) and put it back together......

    What went wrong?

Yes, everything is wrapped with tape. I may re do all the connections with butt clips. Would that be better? Antenna? What are you saying here? I purchased an adapter for GM cars, hooked that up and pluuged it to the HU. I understand what you say about wires being wrong, but again, I thought...

    Please Help.....everything worked and then....

OK, if I turned the "L" and "R" gain off the blasting goes away but No subs. As I slowly turn the gains back, the subs just seem to go to a Hum and hum louder and louder as I turn the gain up. Not the thumping the subs are supposed to do?

    Please Help.....everything worked and then....

Yes the HU works without the amp connected to it. They had the factory HU connected from the amp to an adapter. The adapter was spliced into the factory harness. The reason he wanted a new HU was to be able to control the subs which he could. I called them after that when he purchased a new HU...
