Thanks for the reply. I'm a total dummy in wiring so still got some questions - Isn't grounding just connecting the black wire to the metal part of the car? In that case I only need to run 2 wires to the fuse box. And how can I locate 12v constant wire and ACC+ wire in the fuse box? Sorry...

When you say ground, do you mean put the black wire to metal part of the car? If so, there are two wires from the dome light that I can connect with the remaining wires. I don't know what remote turn on is,, I have red and yellow remaining,,, do I connect remaining wires to each dome light...

Hello, I have recently bought a Audiovox VOD715 player and tried to hook it up by myself. I wired the unit to the dome light but unfortunaltely, I have wired it wrong so the unit only turns on when the door is open Since I know nothing about wiring, I would like to ask few silly questions...
