wonderin what u all think is a better allaround sub punch p3s or 05 type-rs if in right box

both 12" subs which in the correst box would be louder i have 2 of the 12Qs and am looking at getting some P3s

yeah thats true they will need to be rather long with any bigger diamiter than 2"

if you used partical board u will need to put a really thick layer of primer on and if its mdf it will be good to primer but wont need as much on the cut ends of the wood will soak up almost all the paint and look bad to make sure you have a lot of primer on the cut ends of the wood and insted...

theres these rubber floor coatings for grauge u can put little color sprinkles in i imagine that would look different u can get it at a home depot or something

i've bilt many boxs and tryed eaither way and they all work just as well

if you use 2 2" ports they would need to be 6.93" long to be tuned to 31hz
