Hey man, what college you at? Im at UCF and I had the same problem, felt a little tool deprived when im up there.

I have a dodge ram and its screwed into the body of the car. It seems thin but its metal. Is the ground suppose to give off any heat at all?

I tested it out at 2 ohms and played it for about 20 minutes, it was pretty hot. Switched it to 8ohms and seems much better temp wise and still is decent bass Also I touched the ground and it was really hot, should I switch it to a different place?

Sorry for the double post, just still wondering how to set it up in 2 channel per voice coil to get close to the 600RMS

Ok so I got a 4ohm DVC subwoofer 500W RMS RF my amp is 4 Ohm Bridged RMS Power: 1 x 600 Watts @ 13.8 Volts I was stupid enough to buy the wrong amp. Anyway I can get max power without killing hte amp in a week?
