happens to me with my Kenwood XXV... and from all accounts its the tuner and not the head unit (went to Sirius's forums and searched there.. a few topics of the same issue)... if i cycle through all the devices with the SRC button, it will in fact come back once I get back to Sirius.. and this...

I have had this headunit for a few months and cannot say enough about it. Its truely the most unbelievable headunit Ive ever had... Im not sure I quite understand all of the features on it yet.. Im slowly absorbing as much as I can, but its been a delight to own.

I too just installed a Kenwood XXV-01D HU this past weekend.. and my my... I must say Im thoroughly happy with it... lots of menus... lots of stuff... I can even put my own wallpaper on it! (hence the Mustang pony =D ) This was my first time to install anything like this, so Im mighty happy...

Hey folks... I am replacing the Shaker 500 headunit in my '06 Mustang tomorrow.. and had a question... Ive wired the replacement headunit (Kenwood XXV-01d) to the Metra wiring harness (Metra 70-5521) with no problems... On the Metra harness, there are 2 light blue wires labelled "Amp Turn On"...

Hey guys, I am a beginner to all this as well.. Ive heard people say not to get 5x7/6x8 speakers and to get round ones, but can you tell me why? my 06 Mustang has 5x7's in the front and rear.. Im planning on replacing them.. if I didnt replace them with 6x8's.... can I go as high as 6.5"...
