I could have had them tilted, but I wanted to keep as much space as possibly in the trunk, yet still have enough room to keep the amps cool. Having them level like they are has done just that.

Answer is right above from my previous post. They arent mounted upside down, they are mounted right side up. They are "floating" so the air still rises from the top, like the should.

Well Im glad that you guys like my install. Most people when I am at shows and GTG's here in town ask where the amps are. I tell them to either step back a few more feet, or bend down and look above. Its a perfect location for the amps, and there is plenty of room for any air to cross over...

Thanks again guys for the compliments. With every bump, and with every minute of being in the car, I enjoy my time even more now that I have some constant tunes (Sirius) and a nice system. For those interested, here's the rest of the car.

From the pictures above, you can see that on each of the 4 mounting feet, there are threaded rods and nuts. On the Passats, there is a rear deck that I drilled through from the trunk side. Then I inserted the threaded rod from the trunk, going up. Attached a nut and a washer. On the trunk...
