I may just get my front components/amp installed and wait until the nine.1 comes out to do the sub. I didn't realize until after I posted that it wasn't being sold yet. But I do like the idea of having extra power in case I want to upgrade in the future. And I have basically ordered the same...

I'm definately getting the 11kv.2 sub, now its just a matter of the best amp for it...

Just wondering, because the nine.1 is cheaper and seems better suited.

Why do you recommend the nine.2 amp instead of the nine.1? The nine.1 puts out 50w more power at 4 ohms and is cheaper. I will never be adding a sub so I have no need for the ability to wire anything but one sub.

OK thanks for all your help joey. I think I'll go with the larger since I'm looking for more SQ and wider range than loudness. Finally got things figured out and ready to order. Now on to the search for a reasonable install price :/

Well I can have it .75 cu ft for the same price. Would that be better?

Also, would you guys recommend the getting my box with .75cuft of airspace for the 11kv.2? Or sticking with the recommended .6 max. I've heard that giving subs a bit more airspace than they call for allows them to get a bit deeper

Would I be better off wiring these subs at 2 or 4ohms? I don't understand the ohms when looking at all these amps. They seem to be able to produce more rms wattage at 2 ohms, so it seems I would save money on an amp if I wire at 2 ohms. But there must be a drawback to this or it wouldn't be...

Ok, one last question. Can someone explain the difference in dual two or dual four. If I am right(which I'm probably not), I would want the dual 2 sub for the nine.2amp so I could wire it at 4 ohms. Is this way off??

Thanks for the recommendations guys. How do you guys feel about the Dayton in a sealed enclosure with .75ft^3 of airspace? Also, I am correct in assuming that this is a SVC sub so I am looking for an amp with about 600 or a bit more RMS power @ 4ohms? Any suggestions for an affordable amp that...
