I just recenlty got rid of this very same deck. I WOULD NOT recommend it, I bought it brand new and within 5 months I already had problems with it. Sometimes the display would go out and the subs ould cut off and if I wiggled the front faceplate it would come back on. Very annoying and angering...

Also the vehicle is a F 150 extended cab so the boxes I have found are the downfiring open boxes.

Im wondering what the best subwoofers for mainly listening to rock are. I have a JL 500/1 amp and want to know which 10s are gonna be the best for a clean hard punch. I don't listen to rap at all and I know many subs are taylored for that.

Well, that's only cuz I won them on Ebay. There are ALWAYS 500/1 s on there.

I wanted to know if a JL 500/1 amp is okay for my two JL 10W6s. I understand my subs are dual coil 6ohm with 300RMS and someone mentioned that I need a 1 OHM stable amp to get the most out of my subs. Will the 500/1 deliver?
