    Oh yes 100% Operational. The gain pot is dirty and does produce some noise when adjusting. This does not effect normal operation of the amp. Only when initially setting the gain, may you experience some added "scratchiness" or noise. Once the gain is dialed in the amp is silent. See PM for quote
