Thanks. Could it be my cell even if I am not actually receiving/transmitting, but just have it on? I have noticed interference like here on my PC speakers when I'm actually keying the talk button.

I just installed an Alpine 9845, no amps, stock speakers. I sometimes hear a rhythmic "ticking/clicking" noise (like "tsk-tsk-tsk"). This noise repeats for about 4-5 beats. It doesn't seem to get louder with more volume nor is there any pattern as far as frequency; sometimes I may drive for 3-4...
