Tried to bridge the amp today and the noise persisted in the two speakers connected... not quite as bad as channel 2 alone, but the whole thing seems uncharacteristic of Alpine. I am currently in the market for some JL amps to replace these and then I'll send the 4.100 in to alpine to have...

It isnt the RCAs at all... still makes the noise when they are unplugged. I have both amps grounded to the same location on a sanded metal surface using a grounding lug provided by JL Audio. Josh

I am thinking the same thing... since it uses channels 3 and 4 for the two outputs when bridged. Although I will lose fade and the some of the cool 2 zone features of my Kenwood DNX-8120. Bridging would definitely be temporary till I could either replace the amp or fix the problem. Josh

I am about to that point... I replaced it with another PDX4.100 and it does the same thing. Did you swap brands or did you go to an A/B style as opposed to D? Josh
