How many cuft per side is your box for the Type- R's

Are there any other Phoenix Models with higher wattage? 300-400rms?

Ok so the Xenon's are only 150rms and I'm pushing 400rms per sub. Dang more searching!

I see then then the Alpine type-R would be perfect being it has one of the largest excursions for woofers of that level. Hmmmm

Ok I did some checking and here's what I found ALPINE TYPE-R 1222D = 63.63 DIAMOND AUDIO D312 = 52.77 Kicker CVR12 = 47.45 It looks like the Kicker would be the best for sealed boxes and lowest bass notes, your comments?

Thanks for the info. I think the type X is more than I need. I'm looking for no more than 500 watts per side. Like the Type-R's. I'll do that formular on some subs I'm considering. In your opinion for sealed which would be #1? Type-R, JBL P1222, Kicker CVX12, or Punch P3? I know you guys all...

Dude the GTI is way too much for me, what is that 3000 watts!?!?!? Ok I do want to hear crickets at night! Hahahah. Seriously the P1222 look hot and I've heard they can do some damage, have you heard them in person in a sealed box?

Thanks, I did turn it down but the middle typical deep bass is nice and strong but the low lows are still low sounding, i can hear it but it's not strong. I'm opting to by a 4 band Soundstream EQ that with a sub that can tune me to down to 20hz with a 10volt pre-amp.

The box was built to spec 1.5 cuft per sub. HU crossover to 80hz.
