true true. also, planet audio's site says the ap1500 makes 1500 watts max, 1000 rms. kind of also confused me too. the whole process of running a system safely seems confusing lol.

oh kickers site said they were 600 rms

yeah but that's 900 watts under what the subs are rated at. my question is what would be a good option for running em at maximum wattage

I just bought two kicker l512's, and they're 4 ohms each, i'm wiring them down to 1 ohm so i need a good d-class amp that's 1 ohm stable, my first choice being the hifonics bxi1210d, but i see people running the same setup or less powerful setups with the more powerful amps in the brutus line...
