If i upgrade my crossfire 600watt amp to JL 1000/ monoblock. I currently have hte crossfire running at 1ohm to two JL 12w3v2 Will i get SQ and dbs?

I have a about a 4 year old kenwood head unit that used to be fine for my system, but since i put in two JL 12's, I find the lack of sub control on it to be really irritating. My friends all have alpines and suggest those to me but im looking for what the experts here would suggest for best mix...

I have, but i really like the sq with the jl's. Will the w6 only give me a big jump in sq? Do you have any suggestions for a woofer that wouldnt sacrifce the sq from my w3 but would give me better db's?

Hey, Im really set on getting more more db's from my sub. Right now i got a 12w3 in a sealed box powered by a Crossfire 600rms amp @ 1ohm. I cant add another sub to this amp so now im thinking about upgrading the cone to a 12w6. I imagine i could use the same box, unfortunatly i dont know...

lol, now i gotta see if i can convince my friend to trade me my crossfire amp for his 500/1

thanks a lot man, great answer so basically unless my amp can handle a .5 ohm load then i really shouldnt add another sub, yeah, just checked the manual and its a 1ohm min, guess im **** out of luck thanks again
