Swapped the front RCA with rear RCA. No change. I was playing music on pandora on iPhone using Bluetooth. When I swiped iPhone to unlock, it was louder on the tweets. So they do in fact work. It has something to do with settings?

Hi all, I used to frequent this forum all the time for my 2004 Mustang. I ended up trading up to a 2007 Ford Explorer. The stock head unit needed to be replaced. So I decided it was a chance to get back into car audio. The issue I have right now is that the tweeters don't seem to be playing...

I looked up the owner manual and just checked the fuses and a 25A fuse is blown. I'm going to order a few online and get back to you guys. Thanks. Now I need to figure out what blew out the fuse.

Thanks SW9152, 95BlackGA, jmanpc. I just checked and the 25A audio fuse is blown. I will order a few tonight. Green is never +? How do I go about using a multimeter to test which is ground(-) or power(+)? I want to do it right this time.

The newer RE8's are dual voice coil. I have one that was made/designed back when Scott(of FI audio) was in charge of RE. I can take a pic of it to prove it to you when I get a chance.

Actually I think I have a multimeter around. How do I use the multimeter to check the fuse?

Although it's hard to believe a fuse blew that quickly because I took precautions on unhooking the battery.

No idea where the fuses are located,.. I'll google and try that
