    Dayton 12" Ported 2.5 @ 34?

I put a Dayton Reference HO 12" into WinISD ported and it said 2.5 @ 34? Does anyone have any experience with a Dayton sub? I heard they need pretty small boxes. Just making sure these would be the right dimensions. Thanks

Need help picking out wiring kit

I am somewhat new to car audio and needed some help selecting the right wiring kit for my amps. This is what I have: Alpine MRP-F250 40W RMS at 4 ohm. This will power two type-r components and two infinity components. Kenwood XR-1S 600w at 4 ohm. 4-Guage Full-contact. This will power a 12"...

    Good Sound Quality, Affordable

Thanks a lot thats a lot of help. I'm keeping the budget to $400 for the sub and sub amp just because i want to get it in now and will most likely upgrade later. Will the Dayton sub be loud enough? It looks like it gets great reviews from everybody. This seems like a pretty good setup...

    Good Sound Quality, Affordable

Exactly im much more worried about SQ rather than some sloppy loud stuff. So i need to use the current amp I have to power the speakers. What i heard about the amp blowing the speakers was a bunch of crap?

    Good Sound Quality, Affordable

That seems like a good deal but I am sketchy about the zeus subs. Do they really have as good of sound quality as a w3? Would i be better off with the gpv 2000.1 and 2 12" w3's? Or maybe the gpv 2000.1 with 1 12" w6v2?

    Good Sound Quality, Affordable

Yeah the guy who put the components in said I didn't need the amp because it would blow the speakers.

    Good Sound Quality, Affordable

I am somewhat new to car audio and was looking to see what subs would be right for me. I'm looking for good clean sound quality but also want them to be fairly loud. I'm willing to spend about 400 dollars for the just the subs. I have a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta and I'm currently running: two...
