So any one want to coment on any experience with both subs. I am looking for loud sq. Do these two subs fall under that line? Are they in the same league of each other?

thats 80watts x 8 for the front sound stage...i think that will be enough.

hey there...dont listen to squeak....buy what ever you want....one of the worst things to do is compromise by buying less then you want and then having to shell out even more later........ if you are new to installing....listen to as much as you can then pick what sounds good to you....then...

get a couple pizo sirens/tweeters...they are pretty cheap if you look around....hide a couple under the dash.....the are stupid load and high pitched....a budy of mine had some of them in the head rest of his miata.... you dont want to be in the car when they go off or you will not have your...

thanks for your info....the sales guy said that they were so well built that they could handle it...and they were advertizing them in the store for 3200 watts of power...so i was alittle mad that the sales guy was not telling the whole truth.

Hi there...I just resently purchaced two PPI PCX2400 amps....the sales man promoted these amps at 3200 watts at 2ohm stable....and 1600 watts at 4ohm....this being the main reason i bought them... now when i took them home and read the spec sheet....they only ever talked about the 4 ohm rated...

I know of lots of car audio newbies that when underpowering a sub cant understand why it isnt load enough...so they crank the gains, and set the sub level to full.....Clipping the crank out of it and damage there equipment! i was joking about thermal melt down!

The only time underpowering becomes a problem is when there is so little power that the voice coil over heats and gose into thermal melt down.

Wow everyone always says that the people on here are so helpfull.....well most of you are all pricks!!! Ill-Faded...Fantisy eh? I own 2 PPI PCX-2400 (1600watts rms each) and 2 other PPI amps (960 total watts rms) for the front ......and that is all AB class thank you...no D class crap for me...
