thanks for the replies. I'm assuming cleaning up the rest of the unit just means blowing some air around and wiping away the dust and whatnot. (yeah this is my first unit ever so im a bit noob at this) Second it seems like I need a diagram for the amp because I don't even know where to start...

My left channel for both A and B speaker systems on this amp sound scratchy and have about 1/10th the output of the right channels. Just want to know whats going on and how to fix it thanks guys. btw, this amp hasn't been serviced to my knowledge.

How big is your room? I just got some old paradigm 3se mkII speakers and a sansui au-5900 intergrated amp, off ebay, for a similar situation. Set me back less than 200 bucks.

Well I've been seeing these on ebay and certain other places for sub 100 bucks. Has anyone had experience with them? Im really just trying to build a cheap college system. And a DIY system is out of the question for right now thanks mates.
