The power cables on my amp keep coming loose, especially the +12V one. Is there a way to get them to stay in place? I'd rather crimp a connector on them and use that instead of having the bare cable in the amp hookup, what kind of connector would I use to do that?

Yup. Maybe there was a charge in the HU or amp that had to be grounded out?

solved! Here's what I did: I got an adapter to plug headphones into the RCA outs of the head unit. All three sets of output (front, rear, sub) worked!!!! I plugged the sub back in, no luck. Then, I plugged headphones into the sub RCA jacks on the amp side of the cable. That worked too!! At...

I checked to make sure my HU's ground is good, it is. When I touch the RCA cables on HU side with my hand, I can hear the sub move a bit. I also tested the cables with a multimeter, they're good.

I just built a sealed box for a 12" sub. I need to make sure it's airtight, but I don't want to have to wait overnight for silicone to dry. Is there something else I can use to seal it that will take less drying time?
