Just wondering if anyone really knows the difference between these 2 model amps? 2009 and 2010 Hifonics amps. I really can't tell other than Heat sinks and they say that it will draw less voltage from your battery, but is this TRUE?? Just wondering. Thanks in advance!

yeah it was hard fitting 2 - 0 guage in the terminals, so i taped around them to stop any strands of wire floping around!

Oh my amp gain is less than halfway up.

Only one was reconed. My original sub is still going strong (2yrs) and my 2nd sub is the one that went and reconed! it is stiff as hell (only 2 days old recone) Would clipping also cause a loud popping noise? almost as if the dust cap is getting hit. What causes clipping? is it not enough juice?

yes it was actually done by the robot underground who i got the subs from. The box one box, it is not separate chambers tuned to 33hz aero port.

Thats what I am thinking but my laft sub hits way harder than the right.. I metered the amp wires out and its showing .6 and I did the battery test to check polarities and all is ok...i am scratching my head!! Maybe the amp is jacked up???
