Ok I have a Kenwood KX600.4 4ch amp which is rated at: 75x4 @ 4 ohms 150x4 @ 2 ohms 300x2 @ 4 ohms I also hav 2 12" Audiobahn AW1200Q's which are 4 ohm DVC's Now since I can't get the 4 ohms out of each speaker do I wire each coil to a channel, just wire them up @ 2 ohms and only get 150...

I bought this from a friend about 6 months ago and it worked fine until the other day. The unit will power up one out of 100 times if I keep hitting the power button. If I try to open the face it will imediately shut off then close itself up and power back up if I keep hitting the power button...

Well, I foud something else that was interesting. When the HU is turned off I can still hear the enginge noise so it's gotta be something else other than the HU grounding right?

Well I regrounded it to anither part of the truck and still have the same problem. I guess the next thing to do is check the RCA's.

I have them going from the HU down through the back of the glove compartment, then under the floor through the pass seat, then it goes to the side door sill to the back of the ext cab.

I just expected more out of them. I should've bought the L7's like I wanted to do in the first place. Like I said before I bought the amp brand new last year for $250 and have seen then for alot cheaper now.

You are right, I was figuring it would be the HU ground but wasn't sure. I'll re ground it in a couple of hours and let you know what happens. Thanks, Eric

That's cool, I figured I'd get some responses on my Audiocrap stuff. BTW - all the stuff except for the HU was bought last year if that makes any difference on the prices I paid.
