    if it was a bad ground or bad connection, why would it melt just the once and work fine for 6-8 months after the fact? this is what troubles me. certainly the bad ground or connection wuould eventually lead it to pop or something?

    is that a generic piece or will i have to get it direct from Diamond? dealing with diamond is what i wanted to avoid haha what bad or loose connection would cause this?

    i think this happend when my main fuse under the hood melted. i have a couple fans back there but i dont think it was just heat alone. i was probaly getting low voltage or something. so i can just take that side plate out and clean it all out. is it a pretty straight forward thing or can i risk...

    ive left it for like 6 months but im tired of looking at the melted fuse and im about to replace the fronts (kenwood excellons)with some focals. and i just want it all to be right...u know?

    Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I just signed up in hopes for someone to help me out. I have a Diamond 300.4 and one of my fuses has actually melted into the amp. What can i do to remedy this? Will it hurt the amp if i get it out of there or should i leave it? it works fine still but...
