    A coworker mentioned the the AMP might be getting to hot and to try flipping it over. I am afaid to try this for fear of damaging the amp it self. Isn't this thing suppose to have a fan to cool it?

    From what I am told the power wire from the battery of the car is something of a 6 to a 12 gage. but I am not 100%

    This is a new install for this car. It the same parts I have had this problem in every car I am sick of it. the model numbers are: Subs: BZP106 4OHM and Amp: XM-2200GTX 2 channel 2 Ohm to 8 Ohm.

    Well it goes in to protection mode and I did the research the sub deliver 4ohm and the amp can handle 2ohm -8ohm. Thank you I will try the other suggestions for now.

    Hello, I have a 91 Camaro z28 350 all stock electrical system. I have hooked up 1000 watt blitz Sub speakers to a 1200 watt Sony Xplode amp. Why does my amp turn off when the volume reaches 7-8? I am obviously not familiar with this Please help. Thanks.
