    dual 10" seal sub recommendations

Messed around with WinISD a bit and after inputting the t/s params for the SA E10D4 its recommending a box that is 13.15"x20.2"x8.5" for a Qtc of 0.71. I'm curious if I can mess with those dimensions much while keeping the interior volume the same and keep the same Qtc?

    dual 10" seal sub recommendations

@Beatin' - Degraded sound quality of the bass frequencies? or are you saying it will interfere with the fronts? I guess its in the middle of the van width-wise but only about 1 ft away from the dash so technically about as close to the front as boxes normally are to the back. I thought bass...

    dual 10" seal sub recommendations

Seems like that may be the only real option with the power available. So then the question would be what sub should I be looking at for a 1 cube ported box? I'll search on it but taking all suggestions in the mean time. I'm assuming the SA E10 I was looking at originally it probably optimal...

    dual 10" seal sub recommendations

Just ordered a ppi p900.5 to juice up my minivan system. The amp is rated for 440W @ 2ohms. I'm planning on building a custom sealed enclosure to fit between the front row seats with about 1 cubic feet of volume. What would be a good set of 10's to get given those conditions? I was...

    System for minivan

Reading up a bit more on the subs and seems my initial (uneducated) choice was perhaps not ideal. Thinking maybe about going to the SA-E10V2 (D4) and running it at 2ohms to pull 440W. I'm guessing if I wanted to move to 2 of these eventually I would need to go with a bigger amp...

    System for minivan

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm actually liking mylows10 suggestion the more I learn about the power ratings. I looked up the deck power rating and saw it was 50Wx4 but then did a bit more searching and found out that its actually more like 15Wx4. 75W would seem to be plenty for most...

    System for minivan

Yes tempting. Makes things much easier from a spacing and wiring perspective. It seems typically the 5-6 ch amps put out less than 100watts per channel RMS on the 4ch outputs. I'm not hung up on these Infinitys, I doubt they are great. I just grabbed them after having a few too many beers...

    System for minivan

Hi all, I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey minivan that I've already upgraded the head unit to a Pioineer AVH-P3400BH. I grabbed a pair of speakers (Infinity Reference 6032si 6.5) a few weeks ago off Amazon in an uneducated attempt to improve my setup. You can guess how well that worked. Perhaps...

    Enjoy 64kbps mp3's? Get Sirius....

Hello all, I posted in the HU forum a few weeks ago asking about any new HU's that have a Sirius tuner built in because I got a Sirius FM transmitter for XMAS and was unhappy with the sound quality. Basically it seemed like there was alot of static popping and in general just did not compare...

    HU w/sat tuner built in

Yes Kenwood does make one. I think the complaint was that it only had 2v pre-outs. I'd like to get a tuner that wont limit me if I eventually want to do some upgrading.

    HU w/sat tuner built in

Hi all, New to the forums and have done a few searches on this subject but am not pulling up much info. Does anyone know what HU's are available currently that offer sat tuners built in? Specifically looking for a Sirius tuner. I was hunting around online and located a Kenwood that had one...
