I am thinking about taking the offer but then i have to build a new box and buy all the stuff off ebay again and i really dont have time for that i just want somthing louder then the 13w7 but from jl 2 12w7s?

A kid from work offered me 1500 dollars for my 13w7 and 500/1. I am debating to sell or not because i want to keep the loudness and clarity of the system. I did some math to see how much air each moves and the 13w7 moves more then 4 8w7s can anyone show me if i made a mistake in the math...

Yea I built the box to jl's specs 2.3^3 feet tuned to 32hz. It took me forever to get this thing I bought it a month ago n it was in back order. Dose anyone have other suggestions on amplifiers that have many of the features the jl has on their amps.

i could of done that but i like the sound that jl makes i must admit though my old 12w6v2 had so much more clarity but this thing hits with only 500 watts but with the 500/1 its more like 700 so i'v heard

i just got it the other day and i dropped it in the box n put it in the car and its about to blow my trunk open on a 500/1 i was thinking of going up to a 1000/1 but for now i think ill just spend money on deadening the trunk.

Ok I just got my 13w7 and a kid at school said he'd buy it off me for 1000 if I made him a box. so I'm selling it I have about 1600 to drop on some subs and amp setup I'm in a 99 taurus and I don't want to upgrade my alt. I will make up to a 3.5 box I want more spl then a 13w7 in a ported box...

if i wired the sub to 3 ohms so it put out around 1500 watts to it then could i blast it

if i ran a 2500d amp to a 13w7 do you think it could burn the sub

it says not to connect them but if i run 1 500/1 to 1 voice coil and the other to the othervoice coil then will that be the same as runiing a 1000/1 to it

im getting a 13w7 soon and i have a 500/1 from my old system and i know i cant get alot for it because a fine snapped off but it still performs great so im just planning on buing another 500/1 to wire them to the sub to you put 0ne amp to one connection and the other amp to the other connector...

how do you run 1 to each coil if on the sub theres one 2 pin connectors 1 for power n one for ground?
