Sigh...i wish you people would get off your Alpine trip...i mean i have nothing against them but they are just one of my most unfavorite subwoofers...Maybe as alpine comes out with more subwoofers i will take more of an intrest in them...but until then i will continue to run my 2 15" Visonic...

I think we have a slight descrepency...i am talking about the AlpineType S Subwoofers...not the type R's...from what i heard the type R's are far better than the type S's...allthough in my opinion, Alpine should just stick to head units, and amps...Im more of a Visonic guy when it comes to...

i don't know much about the "type R" alpine subs, but i do know that the "type S" which are featured in "The Fast and The Furious" don't really hit hard. As one of my friends put it "If you dont like hard hitting drops, or good SQ this is the sub for you".

Hey, I have two JL 13.5 W7's, but they are about $1000 each.. And also the 12W7's run about $750, not $500, and that discludes tax. Anyways i'll post a picture here of one of my W7's http://www.geocities.com/theconge/13W7pic.jpg
