what WAS the problem??

I got the new 9855 I will try when I get home. maybe there is some different Biolite tests or something. i do know that if you hold down the glidetouch in an area not accessing anything on screen it turns the screen off.. so that when you touch it it resumes for a few seconds then back off...

I am still figuring it all out in my car, but so far the Two type-r I have sound great! I was running stock for the past 6 years though, and in the car I put them in I had finally cracked the stock speakers 2 months earlier.. So everything is better to me!!!

I have not played with this feature yet. Have you tried changing up between cd+r and rw etc.. I know you have to finialize the CD not just the session etc.

could you not go with a HU that reads DVD's if it is really an issue. Most if not all DVD HU read MP3 etc. then you would have the equivilent of multiple CD's. More then 3 and yet not a changer! Just my 2 cents.

yep yep.. Also I believe.. But am not SURE.. there is only one input on the back of the 9855 so I dont know if I need a second simple Y adapter on the back of the HU to connect the Ipod link and Amp Link. I know there is a simple Y adapter that they are going to order for me to connect the two...

Sorry for the hasty post, I originally didn't see an obvious answer searching online, but I see I do need a Sub-Link adapter for 50 bucks..

My new setup getting installed on Friday.. HU - Alpine CDA-9855 K4201 adapter (for ipod) Amp1- Alpine MRV-F345 75 watts 4ohms. This will be powering some T152 Fosgate component speakers as well as 2 Frasier 2way speakers in the back. Dynamate around all 4 of these.. Amp2- Alpine MRD-M1005...

I guess I will add this.. overall does the system seem coo. It goes in tommorow! I like mostly rock as well if that helps at all.
