I think my installer screwed up. Please take a look at my amp settings.

What you say makes good sense....I just don't get what he was doing here.... BTW, one of my favorite old cars was my 88 CRX Si

Thanks! I could easily adjust things from a textbook standpoint...I understand it all. But I had an experience guy do the install and tune. Am I correct in what I think the current settings are and that they make no sense? As an aside...why is it that manufactures don't put a marking or hash...

Well, it appears with this amp that for the rear channels, you have to use "bandpass". It's sort of weird and has been talked about in the forums. If I could ask you to look at the photos it would be great. Also, it appears the HPF for fronts is set to 1500Hz, is that correct? For the rear...

I think my installer screwed up. Please take a look at my amp settings.

The amp is a Precision Power P900.4 The system doesn't sound good. Hardly any bass, and the mid and highs seem thin. I am not a car audio tuner, however, I've been an audiophile for 40 yrs, so I am well aware what quality sound is. The system was installed and tuned by a friend of a friend...

What's the best small amp for my S2000 out of these. Leaning towards PPI 900.4

The Polk db1240 is a single VC 4ohm and is rated at 50-360W RMS with a sensitivity of 88dB.

What's the best small amp for my S2000 out of these. Leaning towards PPI 900.4

So, when I get my car back from the body shop, I'll be installing a new amp. It'll be a small Class D amp which I'll mount on the flat space in the trunk, either to the right or left of the well where the jack and tools are held. I have a pair of Boston Acoustics SC60's and an Polk Audio 1240...

Thank you. And it looks like the ion520.4 would be good also if it's bridgeable to a 2x1.

What's up with these small tiny little amplifiers? Old newbie question.

Well, I haven't looked around much yet. Just got my crutchfield catalog, and saw a few. I was looking at the Rockford Fosgate PB300X4, but it doesn't look like it's bridgeable. I want "around" 60-100 WRMS for each front channel, and about dbl that for my one subwoofer. Some others I noticed...

What's up with these small tiny little amplifiers? Old newbie question.

Hello Everybody, So, while I've been an audiophile for decades, including car stuff, I haven't really been following the car audio scene lately. But, it's time to get a new system for my new used car. I had a Honda S2000 until recently when it got totalled. It had a Polk "MOMO" amp, which...
