The bass boost killed it, clipped it to death.

That is what i think the problem is. The second alternator isn't working.

i would get the alternators tested i bought i brand new 200 amp alt that lasted me like 3 days lol just cause its new doesn't mean it cant be defective. i friend of mine went through like 3 brand new alternators cause they were defective and he didnt even have a system lol.

Try getting the alternators tested maybe ones not working. Maybe get your batteries tested as well, one might have a bad cell. Cause i got about the same power as u and i don't drop bad like u do, i usually stay around 12 volts at full tilt on stock 70 amp alternator. sounds to me like your 200...

I set the gain with a DMM so there shouldn't have been any clipping to the type r's. They just didn't seem like they liked getting pushed to hard for very long lol. They still work just threw one in a sealed box and put it in my buddies car. I will post pics and maybe a vid too once the weather...

I swapped out my 15" type r's for two 15" SX's, Just wanted to know if i should let them break in or just wang them. Also the SX's seem to have more excursion than the type r's with the exact same power going to them is that normal? the SX's sound better and hit harder than the type r's on same...

I thought my type rs where making noises too on the lows. But after i investigated further turned out it was just my trim panels in the back of my tracker. Don't think this will help but hope everything turns out good for you.
