So that kick me back to the big money morels as the should be more balanced as they are an audiophile speaker

Those vex 8's are built like a sub, but sundown doesn't have a lot of info posted on em. I also think the 4" mounting depth will be hard to overcome.

Not 100% on mounting depth, I'm sure I'm going to have to space the speaker out from the doors though. Yes I plan on sound dampening the car

I know i wont get full subwoofer performance out of a mid bass speaker even if it is an 8" cone but i figured it would at least close the gap over a 5"-6" woofer
