Thank you for all your help! We got it working and figured out the speaker wires. I do have questions- 1- what does the “illumination” wire do? 2- what does the “park” wire do? Are these needed or can we just tape them off, as the unit appears to work without them being hooked up.

We’ve tried that… didn’t work! We might run dedicated wires from the positive and negative posts of the battery and just use the trigger wire from the ignition. HOPEFULLY that will do it🤞 On the head unit some of the wires are piggybacked and split off into TWO wires. Why would that be...

Got my son a new double don head unit for Christmas and he went out to install it. He cut all the wires and doesn’t know which goes where… the vehicle is a 2002 ram 2500 and the head is a volxcereo from Amazon. Any help will be much appreciated. His check engine light came on.
