Hello every one. I recently purchased a elemental designs heqs 12" sub( i know it is not all that fancy but i dont need much) i put it in a 1.25 cub sealed box with an audio art 100hc pushing it around 235 wrms @ 2 ohm(the sub can handle 200 wrms)but any way i was listening to it and realized...

well as the title says i need a single 12" sub box (ported) for my new ed ehqs i would like to try and build it my self if it isnt going to be too hard what i need is a 2 cubic foot box tuned to 35 hrts thanks

ok will do i useually leave the gain low because i dont like the distortion that can come from it so i guess i am ok

whats a good way of preventing this?

As the title says can a Elemental Designs EHQS12 Subwoofer take an extra 35 wrms? I plan to power it with an audio art 100hc just one channel and at 2 ohms wich will create 235 wrms and the sub is rated for 200wrms, i was wondering for everyones opinion if it would handle it ok?
