What would a 40 watts x 2 amp NOTICABLY do a decent pair of 6.5 inch coaxials (Alpine SPR-17LP or JBL Power Series 652) compared to a 2006 Honda Civic head unit pushing about 15-20 watts RMS ? Where would the installer mount the amp as there is no room under the front seats ?

Hello: Are the following 6 1/2-inch coaxial models good sounding for the factory door location ? 1) Alpine SPR-17LP 2) JBL Power Series 652 I cannot change the head unit yet..it's too integrated into the dash. Is an amp needed to power them or can they suffice with factory radio ? Also...
