Thanks! now i know that kicker suggests a ported box from 1.75 - 3.25 cu ft for its L7 12".....but the box i would get for it is on the smaller size, 2 cu ft. Do you think it will still hit hard and low? Also, what about having 2 L7's in a sealed box vs 1 L7 in that same 2 cu ft ported...

Hi, I'm in the market for some good guality aftermarket speakers for my 01 Mustang Cobra and had a question. I see that all the top speaker component systems have external crossovers that will need to be install somewhere when swapping out my speakers.... My question is....do i need these...

thats for a 15" not a 12" kicker says 1.75 2.5 3.25 for the 12....so it wouldnt be the smallest, but less the the mid size

but do you think that a 2.0 cu ft ported box is not too small for the s12l7? I was told by some intsallers that it will be fine and will hit better and lower than any sealed L7.......then others tell me that I need to have at least a 3.00 cu ft box, and to go with a ported 10" instead since...
