i just played around with the gains ont he amp and the volume can go higher when the gains are lower but overall at a certain loudness whether in the gains or the volume it starts skipping.....also while it shuts off it starts playing really really low and then gets back to loud again... P.S...

how would i go about fixing a loose ground? and wat exactly is that?

i have a problem...i have 6 1/2 " polk audio door speakers powered by a 4 channel kicker amp. when i put the volume past a certain level (about 25 or 30) the speakers just stop. the back 2 speakers are connected to the head unit and the front 2 speakers connected to the amp. any ideas why this...
