Tried to buy a hifonics bxi1606d, but that did not work out. So any other alternatives? Trying to stay under 350$. And is the amp you suggested a better fit than the hifonics. Thanks

Does anyone have a ported box that will fit two alpine type r's. If not does anyone have the dimensions, how many cubes, and what to tune it to. I had a friend suggest anything from 2-4 cubes and anywhere from 32-37 hz. Any help is appreciated.

Thx. It seems like ported boxes are most popular for the alpine type r's. It gives it more power too. I think i read that somewhere. Once i get my subs i'll go pick out a box. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help. I'll just be careful and try different things until i get to the highest it can go without distortion. It is my first amp and subs, and i just dont want to get them and ruin them the first week.

I have not got he subs yet. I was just wondering if any one had a similiar setup and how high did they set it? I want it to be as loud and hit as hard as possible, without distortion. The amp says 1600 and the subs are 1000, i was asking if it is possible to have the gain all the way up...

****... what the hell do you drive? Mine was the same the first 6 months i paid, then we switched to State Farm. Save me 1200$ a yr. I know how you feel. Might call around for better prices.
