I have a problem with subs not hitting lows.

The sound is at 20 seconds in. Every time it hits I hear a rattling sound and its only in the low tones under 45. If I can fix these amps that would be much better then to get a bigger amp, I think the sub voice coil might be moving and that might be what I hear at 20 seconds in

Okay so here is a video of what the subs would sound like in my car but not as loud, that sound by the hole only happens when low pitch hits http:///youtu.be/6LEbLLzPry0

Thanks I'm surprised how quick all of you are to respond. Okay so here's another question back when I had two kicker subwoofers that were 150 watts RMS a piece at 2 ohms a piece I wired them in series to make 4 ohms and bridged them on one of these hifonics amps that i have now They also made...

True, I'm pretty sure it I sent wiring but I'll check anyhow. I haven't got a o scope is there any other way to check if my wave is clipped? I have a true RMS multimeter but I don't know if that will help.

I'll try rewiring but I'm sure there wired right. Each sub is wired down to 2 ohms and they share a box. Also each sub dual voice coil is wired in parallel ++ --

There wired right, + to + - to - wired down to 2 ohms on each sub. They wouldn't be making any noise otherwise. The coils would be 180° out of phase if I wired it wrong

Okay so I turned off bass boost completely on both amps, it corrected the distortiom but I still can't play the low frequency right

How would I modify the preamp? Its all through hole components. Hpf only goes down to 60hz on the dial if I remember correctly. Lpf goes downtown o 30hz Here is a pictures of the internals of the amp

I have a problem with subs not hitting lows.

My subs don't hit lows and its because of the amp I have, is there any way to fix it without getting new amps? (I found out it was my amps by borrowing a different amp and using that on my subs and then they hit lows just fine) The amps that I am using is a old school hifonics centurion X's...
