    Help with new 6x9's!!

I completely understand and everyone around here has been quite helpful. So pretty much I should go with the Boston 6x9's for sure. As for 12's, I've recently came across the Orion HCAA 12 inch subwoofer. It looks like just one would be good enough, but that's really planning ahead. I can...

    Help with new 6x9's!!

Is there any particular subs and/or amp combo that you'd recommend? Or even a good price to ask for on my current subs and amp? They're both in great condition and the only problem is their age, but I haven't pushed them too hard over the years.

Boston's seem to be the general consensus. I'm sure these will be much better than my Pioneer's considering I bought them at Wal Mart; however, they did sound pretty good when they were still around.

Ha I should try that out. Not sure how much they'd realistically go for on Craiglist in southern tennesee. Rednecks tend to think sony xplodes are the way to go. I'd like to sell the subs and keep the amp unless there is one better than the amp I already have for a decent price.

    Help with new 6x9's!!

Haha I'd like to. They sounded excellent when I very first got them. I couldn't manage to turn the volume past 10 without having a headache and I almost never get them. My head countinued thumping the rest of the first night until I finally fell asleep. I was wanting some kicker l7 or solo x...

    Help with new 6x9's!!

Thank you Prince. I'll be sure to do that as I'll need to adjust all of the sound levels and maybe hook it up a different way or even change to better wires so I can get the full use of the audiobahn 12's and the 2800 watt amp too.

    Help with new 6x9's!!

Well, my uncle helped to hook it all up as he and friends used to hook up each others systems back in their high school and college days. I always had him assist in my setup since it was free and he always did a good job with the setup itself, as well as, hiding the wires very well and even...

    Help with new 6x9's!!

It sounds like the Boston's are the way to go. My Pioneer 6x9's were 79.99 new I believe. For some reason, the two front speakers stopped working which I'm sure they arent blown and the back right blew I'm sure of. I made the moronic mistake of still listening to it on only one working 6x9 in...

Thank you all. How do the Bostons compare to the previous Pioneer's I had? Such as the advantages and disadvantages?

    Help with new 6x9's!!

Hello and good day. I was wondering what 6x9's are great for the money that would also compliment my current setup well? I'm not looking to spend too much, under 70, since I'm currently a student and I don't have a ton of money to throw around. I've read before that Almani's were good, but just...
