Sounds good... lol, no pun intended! Ha! That was weak, okay enough. What about for comps, mids, and tweeters? What brand would flow well? Would I need a seperate amp? Would I need a seperate battery in the trunk on a 3 amp set-up? What kind of wiring? Is an Alpine 9851/53/55 a good head unit...

Any suggestions on something equivalent? What's the longevity of these products? Good name? Anything cheaper that'll sound similar? If I plan to drop this much cash think I can get sponsored and show her off???

It'll mid-size to full-size sedan. I'm looking for g-ride this car. No rims or anything "blingy". Just bass and tint.

What about 2 Tumult 12D4s with 2 NINe.1 amps running at 2ohms? It's around $2000, figure $500 for head unit. I'm in the clear. I'll worry about comps, mids, and tweeters later. They're cheap. I'm gonna build something sick. Tell me, is this sick? Or just slightly disgusting?

Oh, and what kind of amp wattage would be considered "competitive" I'm kind of excited about this whole sound system thing, it's so inexpensive compared to going fast. $6k on my wrx and I only had 310whp... nothing to mess with, but no 1000hp Supra...

Yeah, I parted down my car and all this money came out of no where. I'm thinking G-ride now. Blacked-out Lincoln LS, Camry, Altima... something under $15k. Gimme a few months, respect will be earned.

I know enough about engines to never put another dollar in them. Fast is fun, but cmon, unless you race there is no point other than to scare panties off of young ladies, and it isn't that hard to do. My question regards, well, car audio, I'll find a different board.

Well I'm going from the fast car to the slow car. I had a WRX about $300 from stage 4 (310whp~) but lost her... so sad. It's all good. I'm looking forward to selling off all the parts and buying my new sound system. Looks like I'm gonna rock an Altima or something conservative. Hope to hear from...
