I hooked up a stinger capacitor (SPC505) and charged it with the included resistor. Now when I try to hook up my amp (Hifonics Brutus 2610D) to the capacitor it just shoots sparks before i can get the power wire hooked up to the capacitor. Capacitor has normal voltage, I checked, checked, and...

i know you have to charge it with the resistor. if you just hook it up, it will draw too many amps and blow my inline fuse, found that out the hard way with a bunch of sparks. anybody else?

Head Units. Something I know little about. What kind of head unit can i buy, that I wont have to upgrade later? I hate having nice bass, with no comparable mids or highs, i like to hear my music. What head unit, equalizer, crossovers, and speakers do you prefer?
