Yeh, i checked my speaker conn. and I'm getting power in some of the neg. leads. Has to be something wrong in the unit letting it bleed over. Will test later

Anyone know how to shut down the INT. amp for this.My alpine Man. told me how to do this but I see it no where for my Panasonic.This things got some power but when I connect the speakers to the amp, it makes terriable noises and no music. Any ideas?

Alpine is going to look at it under warranty.Hopefully fix it too.

I just bought a Panasonic Head unit. Is there a benifit to using a Panasonic CD changer or does it even matter?

Alright my Alpine took a crap after less than a year.It always ran hot,MF hot but finally partially fried.Powers up and CD functions as well as all the displays but no power to any of the speaker leads. I think the fan NEVEr came on either from when new but they don't tell you when it should...

Yeh I was looking for a new HU but I'm having a tough time finding someting not too expensive that has 2 pairs of RCA pre outs plus sub out.Anyone got any ideas?.Also whats the Diff between 5v,4v, and 2v pre outs other that the voltage what does it matter?

Well it did fry.Had it checked today.It still powers up fine but nothing to trhe speaker leads.You think its worth fixing??
