Another thing i have seen and heard before is that when you try to use the factory amp.If your car has one that sometimes it picks up a hiss when tied into a aftermarket cd player! I have seen this on some tahoe and suburbans with the oem factory amp.But from what you have posted can't really say!!!

could be the rca in the deck has a bad output for the rear!I'm sure you didn't run the rear rca along with the power wire right?
