ok newbie here.im trying to wire my hu to my sub amp with rca cables.i have 2 outputs on my hu and 2 inputs on my planet audio vx4002 2 ch amp and i want to bridge my sub.do i need both right left rca from my hu into my amp or just one?

yes i have swaped every wire rca and speaker wire whats weird is that i run the right side pull my 2 speaker wires and put them in the left side and it goes into protection mode instantly.is it a bad amp or a bad installer (me)
