I'll be honest I've come to the conclusion that if it ain't broke don't fix it, cause I'm worried a new sub would not be tuned correctly and therefore wouldn't perform well. When it does blow, I'll definately consider the Tang Band and the Assassin

Thanks for your help, one more thing... Say I buy a 200w RMS sub, since I have a 100w amp will that sub be extremely underpowered?

My computer system's subwoofer cannot handle the power it is offered. I would like to repace the 8 inch speaker with a unit that will not bottom out as easily. I have a Acoustic Authority 3 pc. system which includes an 8 inch sub and 100w dedicated to the sub. The box is ported and about .65...
