Yeah the signal is split using a RCA distribution box. Signal from the deck is the same to both amps and only that one does it even with the RCAs unplugged. Going to put it on the bench at work tomorrow to double check but I'm swapping them out for some wolfram amps to see how they are.

I'd personally go with the JBL over the pioneer if I had to make the choice. From experience, I like the sound of JBL speakers and subs over pioneer.

300 amp fuses. You are going to need 4 total for the runs from the battery to the second battery. Fuses must be within 18" of the battery so you need one fuse on each end of each run between the 2 batteries

Looks like the harness suggests it doesn't need anything bigger to run the sub and amp. But, you should be fine to connect the two together. Normally it's more of a danger to do it if the wire you are adding onto is smaller. Make sure to fuse the power wire as well

I don't think 120 watts is going to make your headlights dim. LED headlights shouldn't dim if you upgrade to those on 120, but since you are having problems. I'd first start by checking for a bad alternator and battery to begin with.
