When you say steps??? do you mean more power then the speakers require?

Okay, Is there a certain way your supposed to have the amp set up? for instance, a 800W amp, and 2x 300w speakers, Do you want to over power it or under? If i over power it will it blow them? If i under power it will it not be loud?
