hi just wondering about a box for my sub, It is a soundstream t5-12 right now it is in a 1.70cuft tuned to 32hz slot ported , and they recommend a 2.5 cuft enclosure tuned to 36hz using a 4 inch port.... my question is will it still hit the lows and will the 4 inch port be enough for this box...

i just put a single soundstream t5-12 in my sunfire yesterday and im very happy with its performance,sounds clear w/ lots of bass for the money thats for sure....

it is saying- only 4 ohm stable when in bridged(mono) mode and can do 2 ohm min in stereo(2ch)

I like Ma audio amps(only the HK series) they do make good power for the price, ive had a few and have not had one let me down yet

bass on a budget/250rms - Mach 5 gets my vote - i just put in 2 -maw-12's , lots of bass for the dollar!

sucks to hear things like that.... x2 on waiting in the back seat-in full attack mode! whether it is them or anyone else "justice" will be found...

x2 on pclinuxos- I use it regularly as it was the only one that worked great and looks good too

I would have to say MAW-12's on this one... I recently bought 2 of em, put them in a 4cuft-32hz box and i must say they really suprised me- cant beat em for the price

ive had good luck with an MA hk401sx and the hk2000d-never tried a hifonics so i cant compare it

i had a similar problem shutting off and on when turned up , head unit needed to be grounded to the chassis not to the wire harness...new ground fixed my problem...

in fact that must be a niche 6000d...

nice... could be a treo 1500.1 that board looks very similer - or a niche amp i think they shared the board

price seems ok as long as they are using a metallized window film , whatever you do dont let them install just a dyed film because it will turn purple in no time. that back window will be difficult so take it to a confident shop cause you want it done right the first time...

I also ordered the t3-1000d hope to get it soon, are these amps working good for you people? also how did you end up wiring the subs to it cause i seen it looks to have 2 speaker outputs did you Bridge wires or 1 sub to each output i just want to do it right once.. thanks

sorry he has 2 type S 12s running 1 sub per amp at 2ohms in seperate 1.6cuft ported boxes
